Jim has spent over 40 years working to sustainably develop unconventional natural gas resources while at the same time working to reduce the emissions of potent greenhouse gasses to the atmosphere. Jim’s primary focus has been to assess and develop methane resources associated with all phases of coal mining, and has experience in almost every coal basin worldwide. In addition, recently Jim has worked with Canadian operators in the Athabasaca oil sands region to assess and reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with mining activities.

With over 55 years of HVAC design experience, the last 30 almost exclusively with ground coupled heat pump systems, the focus is on sustainable HVAC systems that provide the lowest Life Cycle Cost of all available HVAC systems for residential and commercial applications. Serviceability and low maintenance costs are critical for achieving this goal. Current projects are throughout the United States and Japan along with our supplier of the ground heat exchanger in Israel.

We support the goals of the Cleantech Business Coalition and hope to become more involved as an active member in the months to come.
